Alexandrite 755 nm solid state laser is highly absorbed by melanin making it the go to laser for fine hair and skin types 1-3. Due to this high melanin absorption it is also as leader in the treatment of epidermal pigmented lesions.
Nd:YAG 1064nm solid state laser is the safest wavelength for the treatment of hair on darker and tanned skins. Nd:YAG also has the ability to treat vascular lesions such as facial and leg veins and Cutera Lasers' Genesis procedure.
Cutera lasers utilises truPulse technology which delivers a uniform, constant energy during the whole of the pulse duration. This technology ensures consistent and optimal performance.
