To provide high-performance and results-driven body contouring, skin tightening, and skin rejuvenation treatments (which includes wrinkle reduction), the Syneron VelaShape II employs several treatment modalities, including:

• Infrared light (IR) that heats the tissue up to 3 mm beneath the skin
• Bi-polar radio frequency (RF) that heats the tissue up to ~15 mm depth
• Vacuum +/- massage mechanisms enable precise targeting of energy to the tissue

The combination of these technologies enables deep heating of the connective tissues, which serves to stimulate natural collagen growth. This growth then causes a localized, reduced skin laxity and volume. As a result, patients can enjoy a healthy skin structure that is smooth and tight.

Treatments with the Syneron VelaShape II take, on average, about 20 to 30 minutes for an average-sized abdomen, buttocks or thighs. And with the system’s easy-to-use interface, you can easily reproduce treatments or optimize a treatment by setting specific parameters.
