Unique to the CACI Sculpt, Muscle Impulse Stimulation (MIS) technology is a form of electrical stimulation using a higher-intensity current than microcurrent stimulation, ideally suited for firming and toning body muscles.
The current is delivered through electrically conductive pads that are positioned over specific muscle groups.The MIS current is a low-frequency, milli-amperage, alternating current, delivered in a series of short pulses a few milliseconds duration.
As the current passes through the conductive pads it stimulates the motor points of the muscle triggering a visible muscle contraction. By varying the intensity, pulse length & wave form of the current, along with the rest period between each muscle contraction; MIS treatments can be customised to the needs of each individual.
When applied aesthetically MIS technology is traditionally used for body contouring, slimming and toning; although it also has medical benefits in the toning of wasted muscles and for stimulating the blood supply in wasted limbs.
Each treatment session provides a form of passive muscle exercise with a typical 20 minute stomach treatment being the equivalent of doing 300 perfect sit ups

MIS technology uses a powerful combination of electrical impulses, specific frequencies and electrical waveforms to stimulate the trigger point of the muscle that activates the muscle fibres to contract.
The BFAA feature constantly monitors, measures and adjusts the electrical impulses to sync in time with each client’s heartbeat providing a truly bespoke, customised treatment that is precisely tailored to the needs and requirements of each individual.
Both Conductive Pads and Contour Discs are included with the CACI Sculpt, allowign users to undertake a full range of Sculpt treatments from the outset.
Contour Discs are used to specifically target difficult to tone areas such as the bust, thigh and buttocks.
