Grade 6 Laser & IPL pigmented lesions

Although the information presented in this course is brief, it requires learners to not only pass the online assessment but also to write a detailed essay on the treatment of pigmented lesions at their workplace. Learners must also submit a video of themselves carrying out a treatment, plus create an online portfolio of successful client treatments. This portfolio is to provide evidence, which in addition to manufacturer equipment training, supports the view that the learner has demonstrated appropriate skills.

Course Entry Requirements
​It is a pre-requisite of this course that users must have already completed:

• Intermed's Grade 3 "Access Course for Laser, IPL & LED Skin & Hair Treatments" (or a Level 3 Beauty Therapy, Medical or Scientific Qualification) 
• "Core of Knowledge" course  
• Intermed's Grade 4 "Anatomy & Physiology for Laser, IPL & LED Treatments"
• Intermed's Grade 4 "Laser & IPL Hair Growth Reduction & Skin Rejuvenation Treatments" (or similar)
• "Laser or IPL Operator Training" from the manufacturer or supplier of their specific equipment
