It is recommended that these learners complete this access course before studying the Grade 4 endorsed 'Core of Knowledge' course. Some local authorities insist that learners complete a Grade 3 endorsed learning course before moving on to a more detailed Grade 4 endorsed course. Grade 4 Anatomy & Physiology for Laser, IPL & LED Treatments
The body systems covered include: Skin, Hair and Nails, Components of Blood, the Circulatory System, The Lymphatic System, an overview of Immunology, the Endocrine System, Wound Healing and Ageing Skin.
Along with the Laser and IPL Core of Knowledge course, this Anatomy & Physiology course underpins all other Laser & IPL courses offered by Intermed Clinical Ltd.
Completion of this course is an entry requirement for most of the courses offered.
Once candidates successfully pass the online multiple choice assessment at the end of the course they will receive a Grade 4 endorsed certificate.

Grade 4 laser and IPL hair growth and skin rejuvenation
The course is divided into modules. There are four theory modules, plus a practical module which allows Intermed to assess a learner's Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation practical skills. If the learner does not have access to suitable equipment, the practical assessment can be carried out at one of the parent company's (Skin Group International Ltd) fully equipped centres.
Please note that it is necessary to complete each of the modules in the correct sequence and to pass each module's assessment before purchasing and studying the next module in the series - we do not issue individual module certification.

Grade 4 Non-invasive Laser lipolysis (class 3b diode)
This Grade 4 endorsed course covers the treatment theory including information on medical contra-indications and precautions that should be taken during the procedure.
Method of working:
The laser emits low level energy cerating a chemical signal in the dat cells. This breakdowns the fats and releases them through the cell membranes into the body. These are then either used to create energy (exercise) or restored.
Clinically proven:
Independent clinical studies have shown a reduction in the fast layer post treatment.
Safe and Painless:
Low level energy is used in the form of visible red laser light. This does not produce any abnormal effects in the body. The treatment can be performed on all skin types and body areas where unwanted fat is stored, you can return to normal activity immediately after treatment.
Targeted fat reduction:
