The Motus AY is a combination of both Nd:YAG 1064nm and Alexandrite 755nm to offer virtually pain-free laser hair-removal with the help of Moveo technology.
Due to having both Nd:YAG and Alexandrite wavelength the laser is also able to perform a range of other aesthetic treatments such as vascular lesions and pigmentation. It is also safe and effective on skin types 1-6.
With the Motus AY alexandrite can be used for all skin types to help target the fine and thin hairs. the Motus AY uses a 20mm round spot size with contact cooling for ultimate patient comfort.

Others lasers that have a combination of Nd:YAG and Alexandrite will use a stamping method of laser energy delivery. You fire one shot at the target and then move onto the next area and so on.
With Moveo technology you are using low energy Alexandrite shots at very high frequencies. This means there is gradually build up of heat to destroy the follicle but the procedures is very safe without limited risks of burns as the energies are so low. It relies on the user moving the contact cooled handpiece over the target area so multiple shots are fired.
The type of technology is found in SHR and Diode lasers.
